Charon is a ritual company, one of the largest in the city. The organization is named after Charon, in Greek mythology the carrier of the souls of the dead across the river to the underworld realm of the dead.
Харон – ритуальная компания, одна из крупнейших в городе. Организация названа в честь Харона, в греческой мифологии – перевозчика душ умерших через реку в подземное царство мертвых.
Task
Задача
To make a restyling of a logo for a ritual company Charon. The task of the logo is to create an association with the character of Greek mythology in simple forms.
Сделать рестайлинг логотипа для ритуальной компании Харон. Задача логотипа – простыми формами создать ассоциацию с персонажем греческой мифологии.
Solution
Решение
The square is a universal equilateral geometric figure, a symbol of balance and proportionality, stability and constancy, protection and limitation. Sunset, represents the end of life. The glare from the sun in the form of a path playing ripples of water refers us to the legend of the underground river through which Charon transported the souls of the dead.
Квадрат – универсальная равносторонняя геометрическая фигура, символ равновесия и пропорциональности, стабильности и постоянства, защиты и ограничения. Закат солнца, олицетворяет конец жизни. Блики от солнца в виде дорожки, играющей рябью воды отсылают нас к легенде о подземной реке, по которой Харон перевозил души умерших.
